ＳＰ校Study Visitの３日目，７月２７日（火）は１０：００から昨日の水環境に関する共同実習の残りのテーマを行いました。昼食をはさんでＳＰ校の授業に少し参観し，１３：００過ぎからSenoko AvenueにあるYakult Singapore Pte Ltdを見学しました。
日本で誕生したヤクルトですが，その製造方法や乳酸菌の培養とその管理など初めて知ることも多く，ＳＰ校の学生とともに興味深く見学できました。
　On July 27 (the third day), we did the remaining experiment from 10:00 a.m., we visited SP’s classes after lunch.  After that we visited Yakult Singapore Pre Ltd. which was in Senoko Avenue 1:00 p.m.  Though Yakult was born in Japan, there were a lot of things which we didn’t know.  For example, we didn’t know how to produce Yakult or how to cultivate and control lactic acid bacterium.  We were excited at visiting there together with SP students.
　ＳＰ校に帰って１６：００からは，ＳＰ校ABEの学生約３０名の前で本校の学生によるプレゼンテーションを行いました。プレゼンテーションでは１５名の学生が４つのチームに分かれて，それぞれ日本，大分県，大分高専，都市システム工学科についてＰＣとプロジェクタ＆スクリーンを使って紹介しました。英語によるプレゼンテーションは初めての経験でしたが，日本での準備の甲斐があってABEの学生には楽しんで理解してもらえました。
　Students of our school gave presentation in front of 30 students of A.B.E.  They divided into four groups and each group introduced Japan, Oita Prefecture, Oita National College of Technology, Department of Civil Engineering, with personal computers, a projector and screen. It was the first experience for students to give presentation in English, but it ended successfully because they got ready for it in Japan.  It seemed that students of A.B.E. have enjoyed their presentation.
　プレゼンテーションでの緊張を経て夕食を終えた後，ＳＰ校の学生の案内でシンガポールの観光名所であるMerlion Parkに行きました。夜の闇のなか高層ビルを背景としてスポットライトを浴びて輝く水飛沫を吐き出すマーライオンはとても美しく，学生達は感激した様子でした。
　 After dinner, we visited Merlion Park, a famous sight of Singapore, guided by SP students.  We were impressed by beautiful Merlion which stood in the spotlight against high-rise buildings in the dark night.
